Brian J. Rachal
Chief Financial Officer
Brian Rachal is an accomplished financial and treasury executive, with private equity industry experience. As Gridiron Capital’s Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Rachal is responsible for overseeing Gridiron’s Fund accounting, financial statement reporting, tax reporting, investor relations and compliance and ethics oversight.
Prior to joining Gridiron, Mr. Rachal was the Vice President of Finance and Controller for Littlejohn & Co., LLC, a global private equity firm with $2.9 billion of AUM. During his fourteen year career at Littlejohn, Mr. Rachal’s responsibilities included all aspects of the accounting, financial reporting, investor relations and operational matters.
Mr. Rachal was previously the Accounting Supervisor at Seabury and Smith, Inc. (a subsidiary of Marsh and McLennan, Inc.) in New York. Beginning his career at Seabury and Smith, Inc. as a staff accountant, Mr. Rachal quickly rose through the ranks to become the accounting supervisor, managing a staff of eight individuals.
Mr. Rachal holds a B.S. in Business Administration, with a major in Accounting from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Mr. Rachal volunteers with Habitat for Humanity of Westchester, Inc.
