Mr. Kotz has experience in private equity, investment banking and the futures industry. Prior to joining Gridiron Capital in 2008, Mr. Kotz was a Senior Associate at Altus Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on buyouts of lower middle-market companies. At Altus, Mr. Kotz was responsible for transaction execution, portfolio management and deal sourcing. Prior to this, Mr. Kotz was an Associate at Resource Financial Corporation, an investment bank, and with Iowa Commodities, Ltd., a commodity trading advisor. Mr. Kotz is a graduate of Boston College with a B.S. in Finance. Mr. Kotz also holds an M.B.A. with honors from University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and serves as President and on the board of directors for the Chicago Private Equity Network (CPEN).
